Creating a Kanban Board

1. Open Jira and sign in with your login credentials.
2. Click on "Boards" in the top navigation bar and select "Create Board" from the dropdown menu.
3. Choose "Kanban Board" from the list of board types and click "Next."
4. Give the board a name and select the projects you want to represent on the board by holding down the CTRL or CMD key.
5. Set the filter options for the board by selecting the corresponding criteria, and click "Create Board" to create the Kanban board.

Once the board is created, you can create tasks and stories and assign them to the corresponding columns on the board. If you want to add tasks from other projects, you can do so by assigning them to the corresponding columns on the board. This allows you to get an overview of tasks from various projects on a single board.

Creating a New Category

1. Click on the Kanban board to which you want to add a new category.
2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the board and select "Board Settings" from the dropdown menu.
3. Click on "Columns" in the left menu.
4. Click on "Add Column" to create a new column.
5. Enter a name for the new column and set the position of the column on the board.
6. Optionally, set WIP (Work-in-Progress) limits for the column.
7. Click "Add Column" to create the new category.

After creating the new category, you can drag and drop tasks and stories into the new column.

Deleting a Kanban Board

To delete a board in Atlassian, you should follow these steps:

1. Go to your Atlassian account and sign in.
2. Click on the "Boards" button in the top menu bar.
3. Select the board you want to delete.
4. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the board.
5. Click on "Delete Board".
6. Confirm the deletion of the board by clicking on "Delete".
